Office Team
Below is a list of the Arblaster & Clarke UK office based team. Between us we personally set up every single detail of the tours; designing the itineraries, choosing the wineries, the menus, the hotels and so on. You will speak to one of us when you call the office, and may even meet one of when you take a tour – since we all travel on our wine tours.
Lynette Arblaster
Lynette Arblaster, is the Managing Director of Arblaster & Clarke Wine Tours and has been in Tour Operating since 1982 and in addition grew up in a small hotel – so hospitality is in her veins! Lynette’s first role after leaving Exeter University was to run a villa programme in the Algarve (at age 22 with direct responsibility for 300 clients a week and a team of 8 people all older than her she learned quickly how to run a succesful tour operation). Lynette loves wine, food, languages, travel, walking, swimming, great music, her cats and dog, the Hampshire countryside – and giving clients a great holiday! |
Tim Clarke
Tim Clarke designs the tours and brochure, as well as having a great love for travelling. Tim takes many tours and was described in “Wine” magazine as “a Jeremy Clarkson of Wine Guides”. Tim’s style is to go for a broad brush rather than detail (unless you get him going on ‘terroir’) with insight, humour, history and anecdotes. |
Caron Fanshawe
Caron Fanshawe is the General Manager at Arblaster & Clarke and ensures the smooth running of the office. A great traveller, she also takes the occasional tour to Champagne, North America, Bordeaux and New Zealand. Prior to working for Arblaster & Clarke, Caron managed the programme at Christie’s Wine Education. |
Cindy-Marie Harvey
Cindy-Marie Harvey is our Senior Programme Manager. She takes many tours to Italy, Spain, Portugal and South America as the Tour Manager with great enthusiasm. Cindy-Marie also takes tours as a Wine Guide. |
Clovis
Clovis Clarke, is pictured here taking life at his usual frenetic pace. As well as being ‘Office Dog’ Clovis is responsible for shredding and occasionally acts as delivery boy. His travels for the moment are limited to taking the humans for walks in the fields around Petersfield. |
Ellen Lewis
Ellen is our French Programme Coordinator and acts as Tour Manager on many of our French Tours. She has lived and worked in some of the best wine regions of France, including working at Champagne Taittinger. Ellen is full of joie de vivre and has a real passion for travelling, as well as good food and, of course, wine. |
Emma Bramley
Emma is the Marketing Manager and is responsible for all aspects of the marketing and works with Tim Clarke on the website, brochure and newsletters. As well as working in the office, Emma escorts the occassional tour. She has a strong interest in wine and good food, and an interest in sports, especially watersports. Emma is accredited with The Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in Tourism Marketing and recently passed the WSET certificate with a distinction. |
Laura-Marie Taylor-Stoakes
Laura-marie joined A&C in October 2008 as Administrator and has, more recently, taken charge of the Independent Opera programme. She successfully completed her WSET wine intermediate qualification earlier this year and has travelled with the company to Southern Spain, Champagne and South Africa! |
