These fantastic escorted Opera tours are combinations of days spent exploring the vineyards with leisurely lunches at leading wine estates and evenings spent attending Opera performances at world famous venues with very good seats! There are no early starts on the tours and there is time to explore the very beautiful cities you are staying in.
Each summer, the most famous Opera Festival in Italy is held at Verona in the Roman Arena. It's worth attending a performance even if you are not a huge Opera fan, to enjoy the spectacle as thousands of people gather excitedly and light their candles as the moon drops behind the stage. The atmosphere makes for an unforgettable experience. This year two of Verdi’s greatest operas are featured, the majestic Aida, the stirring Nabucco and Puccini's romantic piece La Boheme.
Arblaster & Clarke also offer bespoke Opera holidays featuring the Classic Italian Opera houses such as La Scala, Milan and La Fenice, Venice. We have access to first category seats and boxes before they come on sale to the general public, as well as tickets to otherwise 'sold out' performances.
