A&C really can arrange very special tours for individuals and perhaps even better, tours for small private groups. We can arrange tailor make wine trips to almost anywhere in the world.
We have sent individual clients to Chile & Argentina, South Africa, and Australia and all over Europe.
In France we have arranged for clients to private tours in Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy the Rhone and Provence.
In Italy, we recommend Tuscany, where you can stay at Chianti Classico castles. Piedmont too has superb winery hotels and accommodation with the possibility of really great visits and tastings.
In Spain or Portugal we can arrange something special, as we can in Greece.
This is a true Bespoke Tailor-made service. Of course it is not inexpensive as you would expect but you arrangements will be designed and made for you personally by highly experienced wine travel experts.

Special Offers on Wine Breaks for Individuals
Tailor Made travel is more expensive than our scheduled tours, in the same kind of way that a suit by a Saville Row tailor will cost more than an off the peg suit, even it is from a from a good outfitter.
However A&C *do arrange* Independent Wine Holidays with total flexibility over your date of departure and at reasonable prices. These options that we offer include stays at winery hotels and private wine chateaux, with a day out with our local guide with a car or people-carrier, exclusively for you. See Special Offers
Individual travel & its limitations
Although there are great benefits to traveling on a bespoke tour arranged by A&C, there are some limitations which are due to the small party size.
It is only rarely possible to meet the owner of the chateau or the winemaker when you are traveling alone, we can sometimes arrange this with certain producers. However if you are on a top level escorted wine tour led by an eminent member of the British wine trade, we do guarantee serious tastings and invitations at the world’s most prestigious wine estates.
Also, unless the winery has a commercial restaurant or is also a winery hotel, it is rarely possible to have private meals with them. Wine chateau may extend invitations to parties of wine lovers, but such chateaux are not open on a daily basis for individuals. (We can of course still do some very interesting things and dine at top restaurants).
So if you are looking for top flight visits such to the First Growths and the most prestigious houses, or for gastronomic meals as private guests of the wine chateau, or even to stay at a great chateau, you should definite consider our fully escorted Classic or Reserve Collection tours.

Vineyard Walks for Individuals and small groups

Opera trips for Individuals
Arblaster & Clarke also specialise in Opera holidays. We will be happy to make all the arrangements for you to visit great venues in Italy and Austria. This includes good hotels near the theatre and our restaurant recommendations.
We will obtain good seats for you sometimes where it is otherwise impossible to do so, such as at La Scala, La Fenice or Vienna. See Bespoke Opera trips
A Private Wine Cruise by Yacht
We can arrange a superb holiday on a crewed yacht in Greece.
The yacht sleeps 4 guests in comfort in 2 ensuite cabins and will accommodate another 4. The Captain is a great character and a very good cook. We would stock your cellar with top Greek wines and you would be able to pick up a few more wines as you sail around.
A one-week itinerary could take you as far as the Cyclades. Here you could explore the wine islands here. Alternatively, in one week you could sail to the Western Peloponnese and back.
A 10 day or 2 week itinerary could include both. We could arrange wine visits if required in Evvia, Tinos, Paros, Santorini, Monemvasia and Nemea.
For a shorter cruise, you could just have a relaxing time in the Saronic Gulf, calling in on the islands of Aegina and Poros and little harbours such as Palia Epidavros. You could have a half-day out to visit the top appellation of Nemea and visit a winery in the vineyards near Athens before or after your cruise.

Private Luxury Wine Cruises on a Super Yacht
At A&C we have been chartering small cruise ships for around 15 years. In the course of this we have got to know a wide variety of luxury super-yachts and sailing ships accommodating from 8 to 180 people.
We can arrange a charter for you, with a wine itinerary for you, stocking the on board cellar with a range of specially chosen wines. And, if you wish, providing you with a wine guide to host the wine tastings and/or an A&C Tour Manager to ensure all runs smoothly for you.
