Arblaster & Clarke’s Reserve Collection are the ultimate wine tours and offer a high level of exclusivity travelling in small parties and staying at private chateaux or winery hotels for our exclusive use or at luxury Relais & Châteaux hotels. We include tastings of expensive wines from the best vintages and from Grand Cru Chateaux.
The wine visits are of the highest calibre. The superb wine and dining experiences are either at top chateaux, even at the Hospices de Beaune, at Michelin starred restaurants or at the auberges where the local wine cognoscenti eat.
On all these tours we augment the main visits and meals with at least one additional prestige tasting at which your Wine Guide will go in depth on their chosen wine topic and illustrate this perfectly with an instructive and enjoyable tasting often with a range of truly outstanding mature and fine wines.
Our Wine Guides are the most respected experts and often due to their relationships with the leading chateaux, we are able to offer you access to properties that are normally closed to visitors.
Steven Spurrier hosts our new Southern Burgundy Master Class, Award winning wine-writer Stephen Brook, hosts our prestige Rhone Wine Tour, renowned wine merchant John Avery MW of Avery’s of Bristol hosts our Bordeaux Great Chateaux visits. Other well-respected, high profile wine experts who have (and we are sure will at some time again) hosted Reserve Collection Wine Tours for Arblaster & Clarke include Andrew Jefford, Charles Metcalfe and Robert Joseph.
We keep the party size small and this is reflected in the price of the tours, though clients consistently rate them as at least good value and above. The small party size means that you will have plenty of time to get to know your Wine Guide and ask questions without being in any way feeling inhibited.
You have flexibility with your choice of travel; from Club Class to local departures, from self-drive to train. We do not include the travel, but of course will advise and make bookings if you wish.
So, if you have a passion for fine wine, fine dining and a little luxury, these unique tours are for you.
