Amaryllis Barge Cruise

The Amaryllis is the most luxurious barge whose interior displays an uncompromising attention to detail.

Each state room has been meticulously decorated in a traditional style with a mixture of contemporary and antique Louis XVI and XV furniture, complimented by occasional tables from Li Puma of Florence, Villeroy and Boch China. The specially designed window casings incorporate huge windows that panoramically frame the passing countryside.

On the top deck guests can relax on sun loungers or luxuriate in the heated swimming pool.

Amaryllis cruises some of the most picturesque waterways in France, including the River Saône and the River Rhône and the Canal du Centre, Canal de Bourgogne and Canal Latéral à la Loire. You will be able to enjoy the wines of this country as well as the areas steeped in medieval and renaissance culture.

Throughout the Burgundy region excursions are arranged to visit ancient châteaux and sample many of the famous wines of the region: Beaune, Dijon, St Jean de Losne, Chalon-sur-Saône and Dole are just some of the towns and villages visited.

How to book your barge holiday

We will be pleased to tailor make your travel arrangements to suit your requirements. Please call for advice. The deposit is 25%, with final balance payable no later than 8 weeks before.

Private Charter

Prices are based on full occupancy and include 6 nights private hire, all meals with wines, water, coffee, and all other drinks as required. Private chaffeur driven air conditioned mini bus on stand by for all local explorations and wine visits. Bicycle use. Rates for barges are on a shore to shore basis exclusive of transfers which can be booked at an additional charge, please enquire.
