Discover Australia's fantastic 2018 harvest with us
Enjoy tastings in Melbourne, the Yarra Valley and Tasmania...
Join us for a wine tour (and for some winter sun!) down under in November…
If you follow any kind of wine news, you might have read that Australian winemakers have enjoyed a particularly successful harvest this year, giving the country’s 2018 wines a little extra potential to be fantastic.
The growing period in Victoria’s Yarra Valley was helped by significant rainfall and yields were reportedly up by around 20%, allowing for more selective fruit removal. The cool weather experienced in this region also allowed for great acid retention, so produce from here is set to be especially good this year. This, in turn, is fantastic news for both us as well as for you because our upcoming Australian wine tour will travel from the Mornington Peninsula and southern Tasmania, to the fantastic Yarra Valley, enabling you to experience this season’s wonderful harvest for yourself…
Join us for an indulgent 12-day tour of Australia’s most delicious wine regions. Visit a range of fantastic vineyards, both grand and boutique, and discover natural wine as well as alternative varietals among truly unforgettable landscapes. Enjoy the privilege of travelling alongside an expert in Australian wine, spend time at Healesville Sanctuary and see its many native animals, and make your way to Tasmania to discover its sumptuous offerings. Tutored tastings, exciting experiences and magnificent wines await on this tour. Some of the wineries we will visit include:
