Join us for a New Year’s wine tour in vibrant Valencia, departing on December 29th from London and returning on January 2, 2019. Led by celebrated wine writer Miquel Hudin, this is a unique opportunity to explore the city outside of tourist season and to discover the amazing wines that are putting it on the map year after year.

New Year in Valencia

Experience a 5-day wine tour that features an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration, where a luxurious gala dinner is followed by festive toasts and a glittering fireworks display. This tour begins with a welcome wine-tasting, led by our expert guide, and then a delicious meal rounds off our day of travelling. On the second day, we discover the unique producer Celler del Roure, which stores wine made from rare grapes in underground stone urns, in a cellar that is dug into the natural stone of the surrounding hills. A gastronomic treat awaits at dinner as a leg of Spanish ham is carved and served, perfectly paired with local wines. Our third day just so happens to be New Year’s Eve and we take a walking tour of the city before enjoying free time to explore independently. In the evening, we welcome 2019 with a special gala dinner and fireworks display. The fourth day, New Year’s Day, begins at a leisurely pace and we reconvene for lunch at Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, where we have a very special sunset tasting lined up. Finally, it’s time to say goodbye and we catch our return flights home on the fifth day of this unforgettable adventure.
